Since giving birth to her first son in 2015, Laci’s passion for babies has reshaped her life leading her to become a self-described “birth-enthusiast”. Laci began her career as a Certified Babywearing Educator (CBE), Postpartum doula (DONA), and Parenting Educator. She quickly discovered that a significant amount of her time spent with families was centered around breastfeeding support. This led her to pursue her certification as an IBCLC. Laci completed a portion of her coursework, clinical hours, and training, under the professional guidance of Kathy and at George Washington University Hospital. Laci has been doing home visits and working for Metropolitan Breastfeeding in pediatrician’s offices ever since. Laci enjoys helping her clients learn how to connect with their baby from the very beginning by providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive in their new roles.
Laci and her husband live in Fairfax, VA with their two sons and, when she is not supporting new parents, studying or teaching classes; she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and exploring antique stores.
