After serving for several years as an officer in the Army, Lisa transitioned to full-time mother when her first child was born. She experienced many challenges breastfeeding her newborn, which prompted her to reach out for help to her local La Leche League group. After receiving informative support and encouragement, she was much better equipped to persevere through the challenging first few weeks of breastfeeding. Inspired to help others, she became a La Leche League leader in 2009, serving in 5 different states and overseas. In 2012 Lisa wanted to enhance her knowledge and began studying to become an IBCLC. In 2014 she became Board Certified and has worked in private practice in several locations in the US. Lisa’s mission is to support families in whatever their breastfeeding goals may be. She specializes in lip/tongue tie, latch, increasing supply, and parents returning to work.
