Rachel RadcliffeMS, OTR/L, IBCLC
Rachel is an Occupational Therapist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She has worked in neonatal intensive care units, out-patient clinics, and other inpatient units in the hospital setting since 2007. Since 2010, Rachel has worked for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. with a special interest and focus on oral feeding assessments and interventions with families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and beyond.
Rachel recognized the need for lactation and breastfeeding support for families in these settings, and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2015. She enjoys working with premature and full-term babies with a variety of needs, and strives to promote a positive and successful breastfeeding relationship to achieve the goals of each family that she serves. In March of 2018, Rachel had her own NICU experience with her preemie son and successfully transitioned to breastfeeding after bottle-feeding in the NICU! Rachel and her husband, Chris, currently live in the Bethesda, MD area with their son Will.
