Brandi Martin is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She received her Bachelor's in Women Studies from Denison University in 2009, a Bachelor's in nursing from Shenandoah University in 2011 and recently completed her Master’s degree in Nursing with a speciality in Midwifery from the University of Cincinnati in 2023. Supporting mamas and babies along their pregnancy, breastfeeding and postpartum journey has always been Brandi’s passion. 

 As a Registered nurse on the mother/baby postpartum unit for ten years, Brandi  truly enjoyed helping families get their breastfeeding and postpartum/newborn’s journey off to a great start. Helping mother’s achieve "the perfect latch" is what motivated and encouraged Brandi’s to further her education on all things breastfeeding and childbirth. To Brandi the perfect latch is the bond and connection a mother and baby feel when a comfortable and satisfying latch is achieved, whether it is through breastfeeding/chest feeding or incorporating supplementation. Although breastfeeding is not always the easiest thing in the world, Brandi empowers mothers to believe that their lactation journey is achievable. 

Brandi recently relocated to South Florida, but she looks forward to providing virtual lactation counseling, education and support for you and your beautiful family. 

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, journaling, walking in nature, traveling and spending time with her husband, daughter, son and doggie Sam.
