"What a wonderful experience! I visited another local lactation consultant two weeks prior to this visit and had a very poor experience that left me anxious and overwhelmed. I scheduled this appointment right after because of how many of their consultants were RNs. This exceeded my expectations. It was unbelievably helpful. She validated my struggle while also providing me hope that we could get back to our breastfeeding journey. It was super hands on, we tried everything under the sun and I left feeling positive and with a renewed sense of hope."

"What a tremendous resource for mothers! I was referred here by my doula after some breastfeeding challenges. I had one session with Dr. McCue, and my baby was back breastfeeding again within minutes! Not only that, but my session with her was the single most helpful appointment I had after birth. She and the center provided a ton of tips and tricks to use for all sorts of issues my baby and I might face. Additionally, the store at the center has great products that helped us out a lot. I ended up getting a pumping bra, some herbs, pump spray and cream, and warming massage pads. I also rented a hospital-grade pump from her, and it worked so much better than the pump I had at home. I cannot recommend Metropolitan Breastfeeding enough!"

"I saw Metropolitan Breastfeeding for latch issues related to tongue & lip ties, engorgement, correct bra sizing, and painful & persistent plugged ducts. We started seeing the team 2 weeks postpartum and have continued to see them (14 weeks postpartum). This team went above and beyond to help me by talking on the phone with me through pressing issues, returning my emails after hours, and making last minute appointments to see me. "I only utilized MB through their pump rental partnership at Walgreens. I was grateful to be able to bring home the same style of hospital grade pump I had been using while my baby was hospitalized with health issues.
We had a few snafus with the rental process and billing but I was overwhelming impressed with their swift resolution and commitment to prevent my concern from reoccurring. It is clear that the BF Center is committed to serving local mother's and strives to be the best organization they can be. "I can't imagine the last three months without Metropolitan Breastfeeding. I contacted them when my son was a week old and I had just started exclusively pumping because the pain and nipple damage from breastfeeding had become unsustainable. Jessi came to my house the next day and set the tone for every interaction I've had with the team ever since: compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and just incredibly invested and kind. It's been a long road (including another visit where Jessi spent two hours helping me to release plugged ducts and barely avert mastitis!), but thanks to Jessi, Kathleen, Susan, and the whole team, I have finally settled into a rhythm of pumping and breastfeeding that is working for us. One key intervention was Kathleen's recommendation of a specialist who was able to identify a posterior tongue tie that our pediatrician didn't catch. All in all, this place is a godsend and my whole family says THANK YOU!"
