Cara graduated from James Madison University with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse, Certified Lactation Counselor, and will be board-eligible for the IBCLC exam in June 2023. Cara started her nursing career in intensive care and ambulatory surgery, however, her passion for lactation developed while breastfeeding her 3 children. She strives to practice the latest evidenced-based lactation care while helping her clients reach their breastfeeding goals. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exercising!
